​​No special experience is needed to work on the houses under construction, and all tools are provided.  

 

Volunteers are also needed to solicit the following for the houses:

 

Identification and enlisting of contractors to provide specialized services on the houses;

 

Identification and securing donations from building supply entities and suppliers of electrical, plumbing, HVAC equipment and appliances;

 

Securing of monetary donations for the construction of Habitat houses, each house requiring a minimum of $50,000 cash;

 

Identifying and enlisting community support for the mission of providing affordable housing for residents of Middlesex County.
